As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Concealed Carry Patrol in Mount Laurel NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents support access control and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond professionally to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms suspicious activity and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas entrances parking areas and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as required and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents observations and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
